Services
What is the difference between a regular and a certified translation?
A regular translation is suitable for general use such as internal and external communication, marketing and website content. A certified translation is signed and stamped by a certified translator and is used for official purposes, e.g. in legal proceedings, where required by the authorities and for international transactions.
Do you provide translations directly between two foreign languages?
Yes, we have a wide network of professional translators who specialise in translating between two foreign languages, e.g. English into Spanish or Chinese into English. We are happy to advise you on the best solution.
What types of documents can you legalise?
We can arrange for the legalisation of documents, such as register extracts from the Danish Business Authority, articles of association and various certificates, so that they meet the requirements for use abroad.
However, the Danish original documents must bear a physical signature and relevant stamps from an official Danish authority. If the documents do not have the relevant stamps, the original cannot be legalised – and thus nor can the translation.
How quickly can I get my translation?
The turnaround time depends on the length and complexity of the text, but we always strive for fast delivery without compromising quality. We are happy to provide a specific time estimate once we have seen the text you need to have translated.
Do you also proofread English texts written by Danes?
Yes, we offer professional language revision of English texts – with a focus on grammar, style, terminology and target audience. We ensure that your texts are flawless and professional.
How much does a translation cost?
The price depends on several factors such as the number of words and deadline. Please contact us for a non-binding quote – we offer high-quality translations at competitive prices.
How we work
What is the difference between machine translation and human translation?
Machine translation generates a quick draft, while human translators ensure nuances, context and terminological accuracy.
Are my data safe during the translation process?
Yes, we work with encrypted systems and follow internal security protocols, so your documents are treated confidentially.
Why do you use RWS Trados Studio and MultiTerm?
These tools ensure high precision and terminological consistency, especially in large or recurring projects.
Can I get the translation back in the same layout?
Yes, we retain the document layout and structure, so you don’t have to do extensive post-editing.
What if my text contains technical or legal terminology?
We match the assignment with a translator who possesses relevant specialist knowledge and use customer-specific terminology.
