Certification & legalisation

We provide certified and legalised translations that meet all official requirements – ready for use by authorities, courts of law and foreign authorities.

Certified translations

When documents are to be used in official contexts – e.g. by authorities, in legal proceedings or in foreign transactions – we offer certified translations that are legally valid and specifically adapted to the requirements of Danish and foreign authorities.

All our translators are qualified to make certified translations.

Legalised translations for use abroad

We also offer help with legalisation of translated documents in the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Our experience in the legalisation process is your guarantee that all necessary stamps and apostille endorsements are in place in order for your documents to be accepted by the relevant foreign authority.

Do you find it difficult to find your way around the legalisation jungle? Call us – we’re ready to advise you.

Why choose us?

A regular translation is suitable for general use such as internal and external communication, marketing and website content. A certified translation is signed and stamped by a certified translator and is used for official purposes, e.g. in legal proceedings, where required by the authorities and for international transactions.

We can arrange for the legalisation of documents, such as register extracts from the Danish Business Authority, articles of association and various certificates, so that they meet the requirements for use abroad.
However, the Danish original documents must bear a physical signature and relevant stamps from an official Danish authority. If the documents do not have the relevant stamps, the original cannot be legalised – and thus nor can the translation.
